Haven Ministry Homeless Shelter
WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
Volunteers are the lifeblood of the organization. Their service allows the shelter to keep staffing costs to a minimum.
Dinner Preparation: 3pm - 6pm
Assist in cooking the meal to be served at dinner that night.
Outside Maintenance: 12pm - 4pm
Help Haven Ministry maintain their beautiful garden by raking leaves or other miscellaneous yard work. We can also use help in organizing the bike rack or sheds out front.
Housekeeping: 12pm - 2pm
Orgainze the food pantry, where Haven Ministry keeps all of our donated canned and boxed goods.
Overnight Volunteer: 6pm - 8pm
Earn 14 community service hours as you socialize with clients, watch tv or do homework. You are given a private bedroom with bath. The only duty is locking the doors at 10pm and making sure all the clients are following the rules.
